No. If you can access pre-sale tickets - the name on the ticket must be the same as the membership holder. This will be monitored. Tickets not applying to these rules will be cancelled automatically. Name changes are not permitted on presale member tickets. Anyone found abusing this system will have the membership cancelled without a refund.

The Platinum Members have exclusive access to pre-sale as soon as the event is live on the website, they do not need to wait for a wave or for the ticket sales to go live. Silver members are able to access the pre-sale tickets 24 hours prior to an event going on sale.

This will be constantly monitored to ensure the numbers stay small enough to be a boutique club. The Platinum will have the smallest membership base, followed by Silver then Book Club. We will set maximum limits however when we launch we will monitor this to be smaller than the maximum to ensure ticket sales for already released events stay as fair as possible. At peak membership, the limits will be 250 for Platinum, 500 for Silver, and 1000 for Book Club.

Preference will go to Platinum Members and then to Silver Members first. If there are tickets still available then they will be offered to the public.

This is a pre-paid, non-cancellable commitment. If you're unsure about your ability to commit to this subscription, it may not be the right choice for you at this time. In cases of unforeseen hardship, we’re open to reviewing requests on a case-by-case basis, though this cannot be guaranteed. Please note, by signing up, you agree to a locked-in contract for the duration of the subscription (6 months for DND and one year for CIC club members). Unfortunately, there is no option to pause the subscription.

Absolutely not! We noticed about 50% of the survey members were interested in official book reading together, so we are not expecting you all to be part of this. We also noted that you are all very busy - which is why we opted for one book every 2 months so you don't feel like pressure reading.

Mostly fantasy books which are due to be released. They are books specifically picked based on Good Reads - if you enjoyed ACOTAR. Eleena our Book Club master will be helping lead the selection and is always open to suggestions.

If you took out a monthly payment - your membership will automatically cancel at the end of your 12 month period. If you want to continue and not be added to the waitlist, you will need to reach out to hello@celestialevents.com.au 14 days prior to the end of your term and re-sign up. For yearly subscribers you will be able to cancel by going to your member portal - you can also email hello@celestialevents.com.au. Yearly members are auto-renewed with two reminders (14 days prior and 3 days prior) so if you do not cancel in that period, your membership will continue to the next year and you will not need to go on a waitlist.

As soon as a membership becomes available, you will be contacted. Please note the following priority order: • Silver Members on the waitlist for Platinum will be notified first when a Platinum spot opens. • Bookclub Members will be notified second when a Platinum or Silver membership becomes available. • The general public from the website waitlist application form will be notified third when a spot opens. You will have a 72-hour window to complete the application and payment before the opportunity is offered to the next person on the list.

Yes - but you do get two reminder emails 14 days prior and 3 days prior to give you notice to cancel if you don't want to auto-resubscribe.

Price increases can happen, however, you will be notified prior and no charges will be made unless you agree to the new pricing structure. As this club is about to launch we do not see a price increase in the foreseeable future, however, we will not rule this out forever.

Carly Vidal-Wallace will be the main moderator of the Inner Circle relying on a small team of helpers from the core Facebook Group.

When you sign up to your tier of membership - we will ask you what email address you use with Facebook and your invitation will be sent to that specific email address. The club will not accept member requests any other way.

A reading retreat is an optional addition where we book a retreat (Airbnb or Hotel) where a group of us choose to go away for one to two nights to catch up, read, have dinner together and do some bookish activities. More information will be announced prior to each potential event.

There will be a fee charged for a replacement with postage.

The cards all have a specific number allocated that link back to your profile. You cannot loan these out, this will be checked. If you are found to be loaning out your badge your membership will be cancelled without refund.

A Platinum event will be organised for those who are keen to catch up in real life. This might be a high-tea or a dinner or breakfast reserved only for Inner Circle Platinum to be able to access. There will be an additional cost.

No, only one person per membership, only one profile and name can access the tickets and Facebook group etc.

In approved cases, yes. However, any tickets already purchased will be transferred to the new name and no extra lanyard gifts etc will be sent - this will be up to the buyer to organise giving to the new owner. This will be on rare occasions and will need to be approved first via hello@celestialevents.com.au an administration fee of $25 will be charged for this possibility if approved.

We try and make sure that tickets are available to the public as well as members. In any regard, tickets do tend to sell out in seconds, so while we try our hardest with waves, there are always going to be those who miss out.

The Celestial Events payment system does not enable a pause ability. If you are likely to need to pause, this is not the right membership program for you.

The lanyard for Silver Members is sent at the one-year renewal point, so after 12 months of membership.

The terms and conditions mention a 30 day time frame to make sure the administration team have time to process this. However, you can also cancel within the 14/3 day auto-renewal process by cancelling your subscription. The team are always here to help, no one wants you to have a membership you do not want. Monthly members are locked into a yearly contract that will auto-cancel after 12 months, no notice is needed.

No you cannot change memberships within the contract period. You will need to wait until the end of the contract period to change to a different plan.

Celestial Events reserves the right to cancel without refund any membership for members not abiding by rules, ie. buying tickets for others, negative speech in the Facebook group, sharing lanyards etc. No warning will be given to anyone found not in support of correct moral conduct. If you are not a current member your ticket will be downgraded to a non CIC ticket and you will lose the perks of the membership.
