Celestial Events is committed to protecting and valuing human creativity. As such, we maintain a strict position against the use of AI in creative processes where it replaces or draws from the work of human artists without consent.

Our Position on AI
Celestial Events does not knowingly support, use, promote, or publish AI-generated art in any form.
This includes (but is not limited to):

• AI-generated illustrations, designs, or visual artwork

• AI-generated merchandise designs

• AI-generated creative assets used in marketing or branding

• Any AI outputs that replicate, train on, or utilise the creative work of others without permission

We do not support technologies that rely on the unauthorised use of artists’ work, and we actively choose to work with human creatives to ensure originality, integrity, and ethical practice.

Permitted Use of AI Tools
Celestial Events may utilise limited AI-assisted tools for administrative support only, including:

• Grammar and spell checking

• Editing of existing, human-created content

These tools are used solely to refine internally created work and are not used to generate creative concepts, artwork, or replace human creativity in any way.

Events and Merchandise Policy
Celestial Events does not knowingly permit:

• The sale or promotion of AI-generated artwork at any Celestial Events market, merchandise day, or activation

• Vendors who utilise AI-generated art in their products

All vendors are expected to:

• Hold appropriate licensing where required

• Ensure all creative works are original or properly authorised

Any breach of this policy may result in removal from the event without refund.

Commissioned Artwork
All Celestial Events artwork is created by human artists through a vetted commissioning process.

• Artists are engaged and compensated for their work

• All commissioned artwork is owned by Celestial Events for business use

• Protecting our creative suppliers and processes forms part of our intellectual property

We are committed to maintaining the integrity and value of creative industries through fair and ethical collaboration.

Community Guidelines (Social Platforms)
While Celestial Events maintains a clear stance on AI, our community spaces (including Facebook groups) are designed to remain positive and inclusive environments.

As such:

• Ongoing debates or disputes around AI and related ethical topics are not facilitated within community groups

• Moderators are not responsible for verifying the origin of all shared content

• Members are encouraged to use personal discretion when engaging online

Any behaviour involving misinformation, harassment, or defamation directed toward Celestial Events, its team, or community members will not be tolerated.
