The Celestial Afterparty: Your Guide!

Let’s talk about the Celestial afterparty — why it exists, what it is (and isn’t), and how to enjoy it to the fullest!

The idea for the afterparty was born from my own personal experience. After attending countless events that I was absolutely loving, there was always the same awkward ending…Suddenly the lights come on, the night ends, and everyone spills out onto the street at once.

Cue the panic.

Where do we go?

What’s nearby?

Can everyone get in?

Why is half the group stuck outside?

And let’s be honest — when you don’t go out very often, this part can feel overwhelming.

I wanted to change that.

I also personally wanted a chance to really let my hair down and have a dance — without the stress of turning up to a nightclub alone. The afterparty gives you the confidence to head out together, surrounded by hundreds of fellow ball guests, all dressed to the nines. You’re not just going to a club — you are the vibe.

So, here’s how it works.

What the Afterparty Is

The afterparty is designed as a nightcap experience — a smooth, social way to continue the night after the ball rather than an abrupt ending.

If your ticket includes afterparty access:

• ✔️ No cover charge

• ✔️ One drink on arrival (already paid for by Celestial Events)

• ✔️ Guaranteed Entry (so long as you show ID and are not intoxicated)

• ✔️ Entry alongside a large group of ball guests

• ✔️ A safe, nearby venue to continue celebrating

It’s the icing on the cake — not a second ball, but a fun, relaxed continuation of the night.

What the Afterparty Is Not 

This part is important.

The afterparty is not an official Celestial Events venue or event. It takes place at an existing nightclub, which means:

• Standard venue rules apply

• Full ID is required on entry

• Masks/costumes must be removed to show your full face when showing your ID

• Responsible Service of Alcohol laws are enforced

If a venue determines someone is overly intoxicated, they may refuse entry or further service. This isn’t a Celestial rule — it’s a legal requirement for the venue.

Entry, Lines & Capacity

Yes, there will be a line. Why not share Instagram with your fellow guests and make friends!

Even though venues are fully briefed and prepared for a large influx of ball guests, security must still check every ID individually. This takes time, so patience is key.

If you have an afterparty ticket:

• You will not pay cover

• You will not pay for your first drink

If you don’t have an afterparty ticket:

• You may line up after afterparty ticket holders

• You’ll need to pay cover and buy your own drink

• Entry is not guaranteed if the venue reaches capacity

Capacity limits are strict — once the venue is full, no one else can be admitted.

Support on the Way

Celestial volunteers will:

• Walk with the group from the ball to the venue directly on the ending of the ball

• Help answer questions

• Hand out the collectable Celestial pins to the first 50 arrivals

Celestial volunteers do not remain at the afterparty. If you need assistance, please speak directly with venue staff.

A Few Final Notes

• Some Celestial after parties take place in private areas, others within the general nightclub space

• Some venues feature a Celestial DJ, others use the club’s DJ

• Our priorities when choosing venues are:

  • Walking distance from the ball

  • Capacity for 250+ guests arriving together with guarenteed pre-paid entry and pre-paid drink on arrival

The ball is the main event.

The afterparty is the celebration that follows. It exists so no one is left standing on a street corner at midnight wondering what to do next. It’s there to give you a safe, social, fun way to finish the night — whether that’s one last drink or dancing until sunrise.
