These Seller Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all individuals or businesses (“Seller”, “you”) listing or selling products through the Celestial Marketplace operated by Cedilia Holding Company Pty Ltd trading as Celestial Fantasy Events (“Celestial Events”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By submitting a product listing to the Celestial Marketplace, you agree to these Terms in full.

 

1. Marketplace Overview

The Celestial Marketplace is an online platform allowing approved third-party sellers to list and sell products through the Celestial Events website.

Products may include, but are not limited to:

  • Fantasy-inspired merchandise

  • Handmade items

  • Pre-loved costumes or apparel

  • Collectables

  • Bookish accessories

  • Licensed Celestial merchandise (where approved)

  • All Marketplace products will be clearly identified as being sold by an independent Marketplace Seller.

 

2. Eligibility to Sell

To sell on the Celestial Marketplace, you must:

  • Be aged 18 years or older

  • Own the items being listed

  • Have the legal right to sell the items

  • Provide accurate contact and payment information

  • Comply with all applicable Australian laws and regulations

  • Celestial Events reserves the right to approve or decline any seller application at its sole discretion.

 

3. Listing Fees & Commission
Listing Fee

A non-refundable listing fee of AUD $5 per item/listing applies.

This fee covers:

  • Listing placement on the Celestial Marketplace website

  • Up to six (6) months of listing visibility

  • Listings may be removed earlier if:

  • The item is sold

  • The seller requests removal

  • The listing breaches these Terms

  • Sales Commission

  • Celestial Events will retain:

  • 15% commission from the final sale price of all Marketplace sales

  • This commission covers:

  • Website hosting

  • Payment processing

  • Marketing and promotion

  • Administrative handling
     

4. Seller Responsibilities

Marketplace Sellers are solely responsible for:

  • Accurate Product Descriptions

  • You must provide clear and truthful information including:

  • Size

  • Condition

  • Measurements

  • Material

  • Brand (if applicable)

  • Amount of wear or use

  • Faults, damage, or alterations

  • Misleading descriptions may result in removal from the Marketplace.

  • Ownership


You confirm that:

  • You legally own the items listed

  • The items do not infringe copyright, trademarks, or intellectual property rights

  • The items are not counterfeit or stolen

  • Legal Compliance
     

All products must comply with:

  • Australian Consumer Law

  • Product safety requirements

  • Import/export regulations where applicable

  • Shipping & Dispatch

  • Sellers must:

  • Dispatch sold items within a reasonable timeframe (recommended within 5 business days)

  • Provide valid tracking information

  • Package items safely and appropriately
     

5. Prohibited Items

The following items may not be listed:

  • Counterfeit goods

  • AI-generated artwork or products knowingly using unlicensed AI-generated artwork

  • Illegal or unsafe products

  • Weapons

  • Adult content

  • Copyright-infringing merchandise

  • Offensive or discriminatory material

Celestial Events reserves the right to remove prohibited listings immediately without refund.

 

6. Payments to Sellers

Seller payments will be released only after:

  • Tracking information has been submitted, AND

  • The item has been successfully delivered to the customer, AND

  • Seven (7) days have passed since delivery confirmation

  • This seven-day period allows for the customer return/refund window.

Payments will be made via:

  • Australian bank transfer, or

  • PayPal

Sellers are responsible for ensuring payment details provided are accurate.

 

7. Returns & Refunds
Customer Returns

Customers may request a return:

  • Within seven (7) days of receiving the item

  • Returns are accepted only if:

  • The item significantly differs from the description

  • The incorrect item was sent

  • The item arrives damaged

  • Change of Mind

 

Change-of-mind returns:

May be accepted at the Seller’s discretion

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • Return Process

Customers must:

  • Complete an official Celestial Marketplace Return Request Form

  • Receive approval before sending any item back

  • Unauthorised returns may be refused.

Seller Responsibility

If a return is approved due to inaccurate description or fault:

  • The Seller may be responsible for refunding the customer

  • Repeated issues may result in Marketplace suspension or removal
     

8. Intellectual Property

By listing products, you grant Celestial Events permission to:

  • Display product images and descriptions

  • Promote Marketplace listings across website, social media, newsletters, and marketing materials

  • You confirm you have the right to use all submitted content and imagery.

 

9. Marketplace Approval & Removal Rights

Celestial Events reserves the right to:

  • Refuse listings

  • Remove listings

  • Suspend or terminate sellers

  • Edit listings for formatting or clarity

  • Request proof of authenticity or ownership

  • This may occur at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

Celestial Events acts solely as a Marketplace platform facilitator.

We are not liable for:

  • Seller conduct

  • Product quality

  • Shipping delays

  • Customer disputes

  • Loss or damage arising from Marketplace transactions

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount of commission received by Celestial Events for the transaction in question.

 

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cedilia Holding Company Pty Ltd, Celestial Events, its directors, staff, volunteers, contractors, and affiliates against any claims, damages, liabilities, or legal costs arising from:

  • Your listings

  • Breach of these Terms

  • Intellectual property disputes

  • Consumer complaints

  • Illegal or misleading products
     

12. Changes to Terms

Celestial Events may update these Terms at any time.

Updated versions will be published on the website and continued use of the Marketplace constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
