We take the hard work off your plate, ensuring your book meets the highest professional and fan expectations:

1. Developmental Editing
   Our in-house developmental editor reviews your manuscript to ensure plot strength, pacing, and those all-important fantasy elements readers crave.

2. Copy Editing
   Every line polished for clarity, flow, and grammatical precision. No substandard texts — our readers expect the best.

3. Typesetting & Design
   Professional formatting for print and eBook, complete with Celestial design maps and custom fonts.

4. Proofreading
   Typos and errors removed to maintain reader immersion.

5. Special Edition Covers
   Partnering with one of the world’s best fantasy SE designers, we deliver collectors’ editions with foils, sprayed edges, and more.

Investment & Profit Model

• Cost: $7,000 + GST (4 instalments)

• Book Buyback: Author purchases 250 SE books ($4,000 + GST)

• Celestial Commitment: We purchase an additional 250 SE copies to sell through our channels

• Retail Price (SE Books): AUD $48

 

Total investment package can be split into 4 x $2,750 + GST payments.

Books will be listed on Celestial channels, print on demand channels and Celestial Distributor channels.

From contract to release: approx. 20 weeks

Stage and Duration

Developmental Edit: 3 weeks

Author Revision: 3 weeks

Final Review: 1 week

Copy Editing: 3–4 weeks

Typesetting & Cover Design: 3 weeks

Proofreading: 1 week

Print & Delivery: 3 weeks

Submission Windows

We accept manuscripts 4 times per year:

• January 1–7

• April 1–7

• July 1–7

• October 1–7

Ideal word count: 80,000 words.
Longer manuscripts will be quoted separately. Add-ons available (illustrations, merchandise, etc.).
